Yesterday, Friday 23rd Oct 2020, we distributed prasadam again in Pong Teuk Village, Chub Ta Trav Commune, Angkor Thom District. As usual, we distributed 25 kilograms of Cambodian rice noodles accompanied with vegetable curry and veg fritters(pakoras), with salads. We also introduce them to Hare Krishna Mantra and perform kirtan.
At 8.30 am, I departed from Siem Reap town to this village and meet other prabhus who stay in the village. At about 11 am we started cooking with the help of villagers as well. The preparation ready at about 2 pm, then we offered the preparation. HG Guna Avatara Prabhu taught them to chant Hare Krishna Mahamantra followed by kirtan. It is very happy to notice that they sing very enthusiastically, especially children. Please give your payer and blessing that this Hare Krishna Mahamantra will firmly fix in their memory. Also happy to notice that at least when they see devotee again they could say “Hare Krishna’! What great happiness! After that, we distributed the prasadam while kirtan is going on!
After prasadam some kids are again joining kirtan for at least 15 minutes before the team concluded the program and back to basecamp in Chub Village and Siem Reap town!
