Bhakta Thy bathe the Lord
Hare Krishna!!!
This year we conducted Janmasthami at two places. First program held in Yashodapura Ashram, attended by some our friends and devotees, also students that been studying English with Kumudaksa Prabhu. The seconds one was at Jaya Bharat Prabhu’s house attended by all his Indian friends in Siem Reap and few other provinces
.
The program started at 5 pm at the ashram but heavy rain came and because our temple hall is only in veranda with half plastic wall, so water could come inside from the bottom. After waiting for several minutes and rain stopped. By Krishna mercy, some guest came then we started the program. We performed abhisekh(bathe Their Lordship: Sri Sri Gaura Nitai, and all the salagram silas, also small Gopala, Amee Mataji’s deity. All attendants were also enjoying the Hare Krishna kirtan, and they chant loudly together. Then we served guest prasadam.
The next program was at Jayabarath Prabhu house. Every year we celebrate Janmasthami with them. About 70-80 Indians and Khmer came to join the program. On this day they had prepared very nice tend and altar of Sri Krishna, they also prepared some prasadam and many fruit to be distributed to the guest.
Hare Krishna Mahamantra Bhajan
We had kirtan followed by bhajan/chanting Maha Mantra from 8.30 pm to 12.00 pm. In the mid of program Visnuratha Prabhu gave lecture translated to Hindi by Amee Mataji. After listen the lecture about the important of Chanting Maha Mantra attendants became more enthusiastic to chant, and some of them also lead the kirtan for quite long time in their Indian style bhajan. They offer donation for the ashram before we went back, and offer many fruits as well.
