This morning during our Srimad Bhagavatam class one lady Vendor riding her motorbike carrying goods to sell was passing in front of our storefront Hare Krishna center in Siem Reap. She became intrigued to see foreigners sitting together as our main door is always fully left open from morning till evening every day.
She stopped her motorcycle and for possibly half a minute starred towards our group of 5 devotees (all of whom are foreigners, 1 from Canada 🇨🇦, 1 from Russia 🇷🇺, and 3 from Indonesia).
Noticing her looking our way I signaled to one of our devotees to go and speak with her thinking possibly she wanted to ask something.
To our surprise, she could speak fluent English. Prabhu Kisora spoke with her explaining about our daily Sat Sanga and then Bhaktin Sofi from Russia spontaneously grabbed our two newly published Khmer books, The Science of Srlf-Realization, Part 1 and 2, and presented them to her.
Then Prabhu Kisora got some Prabhupada biscuit prasadam I had received when leaving KL two days back which she gladly accepted.
She was also happy to leave her contact number with us. She was totally at ease with us taking a few photos and after all these exchanges she was on her way to selling her goods with a happy heart.
A wonderful testimony of how wonderful Krishna, in His inconceivable ways as the Supersoul within, directs fortunate living entities towards devotees when the time is right.
Our place is tucked away far from the main road and hardly no one passes on this remote secondary dirt road. It’s literally like finding a needle in a haystack.
She left an enriched soul carrying Srila Prabhupada’s books, Krishna Prasadam, and a positive impression of Hare Krishna devotees.
From Vendor to Customer.
