YEV is a pioneering Eco community project based on Cow Protection and Holistic Farming. YEV is located around 45 km from the famed Angkor Wat temple near Siem Reap.
GOSHALA
YEV has been running a Goshala with 7 protected cows and calves on 3 hectares of grazing land. One local family is doing full-time service to maintain all the cows and calves. On some special days like Purnima, we do Gopuja for the cows to invoke auspiciousness.
FARM
At the present, YEV cultivates 7 hectares of agricultural land and 4 hectares of rice fields which are cultivated by local families and one Devotee Family (Gunaavatara Das).
Each local family works on one hectare of land based on a shared system. Our agricultural fields at YEV produce Cassava, some beans, and corn. Besides that, we have 50 fruit trees of mangoes and Jack fruit on the Asram plot where they produce fruits every year.
VRINDAVAN FOREST
Our natural protected forests at YEV’s 108-acre estate are replicas of the twelve Vrindavan Forests. The YEV Vrindavan Forest produces natural oxygen and organic matter for compost and has become home to thousands of different species of birds.
VEDIC CULTURAL EDUCATIONAL CENTER (VCEC)
VCEC is in close proximity to YEV, located on the main government road near the Local Village area. VCEC is the center for conducting Vedic Festivals and Educational programs. VCEC facilitates devotees, volunteers, and visitors to stay. At present we have one kutir for living and one kutir in the making.
To help maintain and further develop these services to Mother Surabhi, Mother Bhumi, and Lord Krishna we invite devotees and friends to kindly support these Vedic projects by contributing monthly $10. Please try to visit us whenever possible. We will be most happy to receive you.
We invite anyone who wants to offer GoPuja and Prasadam to the cows to bring auspiciousness to your family and friends.
