On Sunday 23rd March 2014, we held our weekly Sunday Feast program in our Siem Reap center. On this day, we had some special guests. First was HH Bhakti Raghava Swami Maharaja (ISKCON Sannyasi and initiating Guru, a disciple of His Divine Grace A.C. Bhaktivedanta Swami Prabhupada) who has been visiting Siem Reap since March 18th. Maharaja will be in Cambodia for various preaching activities until 15th of April.  Present also was Stephen Knapp (Sri Nandanandana Prabhu), also a disciple of Srila Prabhupada.  Stephen Knapp is the author of many books on Vedic culture and philosophy. He visited our center along with another 3 persons connected with AMI (Ancient Mysteries International). Other guests at the Sunday Feast program included some Russian and local Cambodians.

With the conch shell blowing, the noon arati started at the beginning of program at noon. The devotees then sang the ‘Yasomati Nandana’ song followed by the Hare Krishna Maha Mantra. The mrdanga (drum) and karatala (hand cymbals) accompanied the chanting. Devotees and visitor all sang nicely and enthusiastically for approximately half an hour. Afterwards, there was the chanting of Lord Nrsimhadeva’s prayers. After this, HH Bhakti Raghava Swami Maharaja sang the ’Jaya Radha Madhava’ bhajan and then gave a lecture for about one hour. The devotees and visitors all listened to the lecture attentively. After the lecture, a few guests asked some questions. At the end of the program, Maharaja led the devotees and visitors in chanting the Hare Krishna Maha Mantra for one round on beads. The last part of our program was honoring prasadam together.
