Nowadays we work at the farm with Somaka Prabhu and Bhakta Wisnu from Monday to Thursday every week. We began the constructions of a new bath room, prepared the water tank, cleaned around fruit trees, and planted some beans. We are planning to get some local students for the Vocational Training Course we plan to introduce. We have spoken to the Village Chief and have given him some documents about the course and the project. He will announce to the villagers whether any parents want to send their grown up son to join our courses. And later he will speak to the Commune Chief as well.
In order to prepare the course, residend families at Yashodapura are engaged in making roof and cleaning the new plot for the temple and students’ ashram.
Somaka Prabhu said that it will be good to make one nice temple. This temple also can be used as a study hall. The building will be 7 by 8 metres in size, and its location in front of the brahmacari ashrama building. The building will be in Balinese style known as “Kuntilan”. This kind of building in Bali is usually located in the pura (local name for temple) or community hall (banjar). For this purpose we ordered some wood and we also plan to collect some other wood from our land. On the old cottage, upstairs, we will put the wooden wall. This will be used as the brahmacari ashram. We can put a lock on when we go to the city. In addition, we will build one hut (5 x 5 m) for students. If we get new devotee family we will make one more hut of the same size.
