Since the month of July we have been conducting our Food for Life Prasadam Distribution. On the weekends around 10.30 am we distribute Prasadam in one poor village in Koukchork Commune. This village is located near the city, 1 km from our temple. There were about 50-60 people, some are working as laborers in Siem Riep, also there is one group of ladies who had got HIV AIDS during the war, and a lot of poor children. The Director of that Ladies group is our friend actually, and she is the one who invited us for this program. The devotees cooked the following Prasadam at the temple: one big pot of rice, one pot of curry soup and some pakoras. Before distributing the Prasadam we taught them to chant the Hare Krishna Maha Mantra as well.
There is another big village with 300 children. We are planning to feed them also with Prasadam, at least a cake.
